I had the good fortune of working with Jacob on a year-long project to overhaul the Vrbo technology for professional property managers, Escapia. Though he had not previously worked in the space, Jacob took to it quickly, conducting rigorous research and numerous interviews with our partners. During the design phase and through our build, he exhibited tremendous creativity and resourcefulness. He delivered novel concepts on how we could provide our partners with the deep performance analytics they demanded, while also making it easy to use and simple to act on. We had a hard deadline to launch at our annual user conference, but Jacob was able to balance thoughtfulness and high-quality deliverables with flexibility and pragmatic problem-solving. The launch went off smoothly, and I have received no end of commendations from our users about the new UX and how it is a massive upgrade from our previous system. Jacob was a critical part of the team that helped bring this solution to life for our partners, and I would recommend him and his work without reservation!
